20160102_095542I’m network and systems geek who loves to learn.  Sometimes I come across things that I feel would be helpful to write about in order to clarify my understanding and/or aid in retention.

It’s surprising how often documentation and books get things wrong.  Who wants to commit to memory and repeat things that are incorrect?  It takes a lot of effort to acknowledge something is incorrect and to unlearn it.  The only way to really know what the facts are for sure is to test the technology and verify.  To sum up:

Always be labbing.

Always be verifying.

That’s mostly what I’ll be discussing here.  The things that maybe aren’t quite what they seem.

Best regards,
